Large 83mm burrs
The highlight of this grinder is its massive burrs. The standard-design 83mm burrs are great at producing a quality grind at a wide range of sizes. Paired with the 550 motor which runs at 1400 rpm, you can expect to have your dose ready pretty quickly. For more optimal performance, you can swap out the stock burrs with an SSP espresso burr.
Low-retention grinding
One of the advantages of the DF83’s design is the minimal retention after grinding. The angled coffee chute and the bellows work together to expel as much of the grind as possible, so your dosing stays accurate. Designed for single-dose grinding, the DF83 doesn’t have a hopper but offers the possibility of being fitted with one if you plan to use it in a cafe setting.
Stepless adjustment
