Most of this is enjoyable listening and a chunk of it is very nice to dance to - unlike much of neo/nuevo, it actually has changes in rhythm and mood within a song. Some of it is inexplicable for a CD entitled 'Bar' music - a few sound more like a chamber music quartet. As time goes by I found my enjoyment increasing. The highlights are Puntacadaveres and Fiebre. Melingo and Caceres do their reliable, gravelly voiced work. And one goes from reggae to Lorena McKennit while still staying within the bounds of tango.
